Details

Black Beauty was introduced to U.S. markets in the 1920s, and was an All-America Selections winner in 1957. This glossy, black-green zucchini has creamy, firm, white flesh. The plants have a compact, open growing habit which makes for easy picking. Best picked when 6 to 8" long, and delicious fried or baked. Can be steamed, sautéed, added to soups, omelets, and breads, made into relish and eaten raw in salads or with dip. Excellent variety for freezing.
