Details
Buttercup has thick, orange flesh that cooks dry and sweet, with (as the name suggests) buttery rich flavor and dark green skin with silvery stripes and spots. These turban-shaped fruits are 4½" high and 6½" across, and they weigh in at 3-5 lb. Cooks and stores well.
