Details
This legendary Amish heirloom variety from 1910 is named for the moon and stars pattern on its rind. The large yellow spots are the “moons” and the smaller spots are the “stars”. The leaves are also speckled in yellow! Moon and Stars has sweet, brilliant red flesh. No two melons are just alike, making this crop a delight with each new fruit. Watermelons are 8"-12" in diameter and weigh 10-15 pounds.
