This heirloom is from the Ozark Mountains from around 1900, and is also very popular in Australia where is has won several taste contests. Tommy Toe has an old-fashioned, full, complex flavor. It is exceptionally vigorous and yields hundreds of large, 1 inch red cherry tomatoes throughout the season. Tommy Toe is a good choice for cooler growing regions and has good resistance to many tomato diseases.
