This Greek heirloom tomato was introduced to the USA in the 1950s by Glecklers Seedsmen of Ohio. It is a popular, large, red, 4-8 oz. tomato with an excellent rich flavor. Thessaloniki is prolific and has good disease resistance. Its meaty flesh is perfect for slicing and canning. This early variety is perfect for home or market; keeps well.
