Details

Sunset's Red Horizon, an exceptional heirloom tomato, originates from Southern Russia. This variety is recognized for its huge, red, 4 to 6-inch, meaty, heart-shaped fruits, which are produced by a robust plant with big leafy foliage and wispy vines. The seeds were introduced to the Western world by Nik Peplenov, who immigrated to the US in 1999, bringing with him his cherished heirloom tomato seeds from the Rostov Don region of Russia, ensuring the preservation and proliferation of this distinctive variety.
