Details
This yellow beefsteak variety originates from the Project Grow community gardens in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In celebration of Project Grow's 50th anniversary in 2022, they introduced this novel cultivar, which was developed by Project Grow gardeners Royer Held and Marcella Trautmann. Stemming from a distinguished red heirloom that was a winner at an early Tomato Tasting, this golden variant has proven to be as flavorful, productive, and sizeable as its ancestor. After several years of successful cultivation, the gold version continues to thrive, offering the same strong and delicious qualities. We present this cultivar with the hope that it will be cultivated and cherished for the next 50+ years.
