Details
S. M. Isbell & Co. of Jackson, Michigan bred this variety by selecting from crosses of 'Ponderosa' with 'Dwarf Champion' and released it in their 1909 seed annual. These large, dark pink meaty tomatoes weigh up to 1 pound each, with most weighing 5-12 oz. The plants are compact, 2 to 4 feet tall, with rugose leaves. They have an outstanding sweet flavor and are perfect for salads, slicing, and sandwiches. Excellent for container growing as well!
