Developed by independent plant breeder Fred Hempel from California. Maglia Rosa is a beautiful cherry tomato that got its name from the mottled pink jersey worn by the lead racer in the Tour of Italy. This highly productive variety produces unique, mottled pink, egg-shaped fruits with a wonderful sweet acidic flavor.
