Details
Russian name: Де Барао Чёрный (De Barao Chyornyi). First introduced in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Glenn Drowns, Iowa, the owner of Sand Hill Preservation Center. This high yielding variety produces beautiful 3-4 oz. egg-shaped, purplish-brown, dense tomatoes. Excellent for fresh eating in salads and canning. They tolerate transport and storage, and have an excellent flavor, being sweet and rich.
