Details

These unique, pear-shaped fruits can weigh up to 1/3 lb. when ripe. When exposed to sunlight, young fruits develop blue-purple skin. The responsible pigment, Anthocyanin, naturally occurs in blueberries and is a powerful antioxidant. Harvest when the bottom turns chocolate and fruit is soft to the touch. Flesh is reddish-pink with few seeds and a very sweet taste. A new variety from a Ukrainian tomato grower.
