Details
The Zulu pepper comes to us from Poland. The plant produces almost jet-black (dark purple) bell pepper type fruits that ripen eventually to dark red. The fruity flavor is still present with either color. However, there is a fruitier flavor when red. The unique thing is that the Zulu pepper has just a touch of spiciness to it. It's great for roasting, stuffing, frying, salads, and fresh salsa. The Zulu pepper plants are very productive and grow just over 2' tall. Non-Isolated.
