A very rare and delicious Hungarian pepper. This yellow, flat, ribbed, pumpkin-shaped fruit is also known as the Pumpkin pepper. The flesh is very thick, crisp, and juicy. They're used in salads and fresh salsas, and can be roasted, fried, and stuffed. This rare variety was collected at a farmers’ market in Matrafured, Hungary, but developed in Szentes, Hungary. They produce fruit that is about 1" thick and 3 to 3.5" in diameter. Non-Isolated.
