Details

Craspedia, also known as Billy Buttons or Drumsticks, is a striking flower with an unusual texture and vibrant canary-yellow, spherical blooms. Each 1-inch globe sits atop a sturdy, 2 to 2.5-foot-tall stem, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers and dried arrangements. The grass-like, silvery-green foliage adds contrast, enhancing its appeal both in the garden and in floral displays. With a long vase life, Craspedia remains fresh for extended periods, while its dried blooms retain their brilliant color, making it a favorite among florists.

Beyond its beauty, Craspedia is incredibly resilient, tolerating heat, drought, and poor soil with ease. Native to New Zealand and Australia, this pollinator-attracting plant thrives in challenging conditions, bringing both structure and brightness to gardens. Whether used fresh or dried, its bold, sunny orbs add a whimsical, modern touch to bouquets and landscapes alike.
