This squash won the All-America Selections award in 1938. The bush-like plants produce a large crop of creamy, yellow-skinned, firm-fleshed fruits that are very tasty. The squash is best picked when 5 to 7" long. Summer squash can be eaten raw, pickled, or cooked in innumerable ways including in sweet breads.
