Introduced in 1934, this unique squash has spaghetti-like strands of flesh that are delicious baked or boiled and served with butter or pasta sauce, or even topped with pesto. These 2-5 lb. oblong fruits turn from ivory to yellow when mature and are very sweet. Stores for 3–4 months.
