This very early market garden radish was introduced in 1870. These oblong roots grow 1¾" long and ¾" wide, and have scarlet skin that shades to white at the base. The white flesh is firm, crisp and slightly milder than other varieties. Serve raw in salads to add a bit of zest and color.
