The heirloom pumpkin of the New England settlers and Indians, several hundred years old. Hefty orange-gold fruits weigh 15-25 lbs. and have a flattened bottom to keep them from tipping. Connecticut Field is the traditional American and original Halloween pumpkin. Makes great pies too!
