This early producing cowpea or Southern pea gives heavy yields of long green pods on vining plants. The pods contain creamy white peas with a brown eye. Southern cowpeas are part of a traditional Southern meal. Mature pods grow in bunches for easy picking. Excellent drying and canning variety. Good disease resistance.
