Very sweet and tender, these beans have a succulent flavor that combines the best of two classics - Kentucky Wonder and Blue Lake! The 6-9” pods are rounded, straight, stringless, and are best picked when 6-7”. Vigorous vines produce good yields and are very reliable, earning Kentucky Blue an All-America Selections award in 1991. Kentucky Blue can be eaten in a variety of ways - raw, steamed, sautéed, roasted or baked. They can even be canned or frozen for later use.
