Traditional favorite to tuck into wedding bouquets! In mid-spring, they burst into sweet-smelling showers of tiny bell flowers that are excellent for cutting. Lily of the Valley forms a fast-spreading carpet of graceful, 8-in. leaves. Growing 6-12 in. tall, Lily of the Valley is a popular ground cover for shaded areas. This deer-resistant perennial multiplies from underground stems, and in some parts of the country are considered invasive. For best results, plant in full shade to partial shade. You will receive 4 fresh ripe fleshy seed pods that have been left on the plants through the winter for maximum freshness and so that they have also been cold-stratified. Seeds should be sown as soon as possible.
