The Cochiti Pueblo is located 22 miles southwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico. This chile was first grown by the Cochiti Tribe of Native Americans. Flavor is very sweet and ideal for roasting when still green. The flavor is richer when red and makes a fantastic seasoning powder. Pods ripen from green to red and are 3 to 6 inches in length. Plants are very productive. Non-Isolated.
