With its many hues, the Chinese 5 Color is a real showstopper. Compact and easy to grow, these peppers mature like a rainbow in 5 colors and gain in heat as they ripen, turning from cream, purple, yellow, orange, and finally red. The Chinese 5 Color Pepper is a small, round, ornamental type pepper that provides a sweet yet bitter flavor with an earthy aftertaste. These are great to eat raw, cooked, boiled, roasted, and in stir-fries. You can even make salsa, dips, and hot sauces. Non-Isolated.
