Details
These gorgeous plants produce an abundance of steel-blue bracts that frame the nodding, rich purple-blue, bell-shaped flowers that bloom from June through September. Hummingbirds and bees love the flowers, and the drooping habit of the plant makes for an elegant addition to floral arrangements. To use it as a cut flower for a bouquet filler, the ends of the stems need to be either flamed or dipped in hot water.
