Details
This extremely sweet candy-like pepper is a cross that the University of New Mexico did. The cross is Permagreen Bell X Early Jalapeno. These are early producers that produced throughout the entire summer. They are about half the size of a standard jalapeno. They ripen from green to orange, while most jalapenos ripen red. The NuMex series was created in response to Americans’ increasing appreciation for eating a rainbow of nutrition. Super ornamental and extremely prolific, these have a wonderful fruity-citrus taste, are packed with nutrition, and are only moderately spicy. Non-Isolated.
