Details
Also known as the Chinese Space Chili. The Space Chilis are from China. In the 1980s, researchers there sent seeds of many plant types into space, claiming that cosmic radiation increased everything from germination to growing rates to productivity. These peppers can be eaten green or red and have, some sweetness especially when roasted. The chiles can get over 10 inches long and are great for roasting, stuffing, dried seasoning, stir fry and sauces. They are capsicum like in flavor with a medium thick wall that has a crisp satisfying crunch. The HJ8 Total Eclipse Space Chili has a similar flavor to an Anaheim pepper, and roughly the same size. Non-Isolated.
