Details

One of the hottest versions of the habanero is the Caribbean Red. Originating from the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, it is now commonly grown in the Caribbean and North America as well. The peppers have a citrusy, fruity, and smoky flavor similar to regular orange habaneros with twice the heat. They are an excellent choice for salsas, marinades, and hot sauces.
