Details
Ornamental pepper plants make for beautiful landscaping, and none are as colorful or beautiful as this Bolivian pepper. The fruits turn from brilliant purple to yellow to orange and finally to red when ripe, with all stages of the pepper presenting on the plant at once. Everbearing plants have purple foliage and flowers yielding 1 inch, cone-shaped pods that grow upright. They can be grown indoors and will produce fruits continuously, year-round. When grown outside, they need a warm climate. There is a surprising cayenne pepper level heat in these Christmas-light like chilies. While simple and crisp in flavor, these peppers bring excellent spiciness and color to salsas and sauces.
