Details
One of the world’s hottest peppers, with readings in excess of 1,000,000 Scoville units! It became famous by being the first hottest pepper on the planet. It held the World’s Hottest Pepper title for 4 years from 2007-2011 when the Trinidad Scorpion ‘Butch T’ surpassed it in heat.
This landrace pepper is from India and is named after the Indian Cobra. The fierce bite of the pepper is like the venom of this highly venomous snake! This pepper is used for everything from hot sauce to bear spray and tear gas. This is the best tasting superhot pepper and is great for fresh salsa, chutney, jerk sauces, and ghost pepper jam! It is also commonly used in competitive chili pepper eating. Non-Isolated.
