Details

Aji Cachucha peppers are native to Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Also known as Aji Dulce, these peppers are mildly hot and turn from green, to orange, to deep red when mature. The flavor is light, sweet, and fruity. These fruits are used as a seasoning pepper in rice and bean dishes, soups, and stews. Aji Cachucha peppers have a round shape, looking almost like a bonnet or toy top, with the occasional pointed bottom. Non-Isolated.
