Details

Butterhead lettuces have soft, buttery-textured leaves that form very loose "heads". They boast a mild, sweet and succulent flavor. In the garden, the small grass-green heads are loosely folded.

Originally grown by my brother, Patrick, in 2014. The official variety name is not known, but we have been growing it every year since saving seeds from his original grow-out.
