Details
Also known as Speckled Bays or Cranberry Beans. A 1990 All-American Selections award winning bush bean that produces high yields of flavorful 5-7” pods with tan-colored beans streaked with burgundy. This pre-1800 variety is reported to have been brought to the U.S. from Italy and does well in cool climates. Picked early, they are good as snap beans, but generally are used as shell beans. Delicious cooked and perfect for freezing and canning.
