Details

Many foxgloves are short-lived biennials, but this is the true perennial species. The plants produce delicate, small yellow flowers that have a simple elegance. Because the lower buds open earlier than the upper, each stalk remains colorful for several weeks! Planted with other shade lovers such as Ferns, Hostas and Hellebores, it will add charming beauty to your woodland or shade garden. Native to the Mediterranean and to North Africa, it has been cultivated since the 16th century in Britain.

DANGER: All parts of plant are toxic if eaten. Foliage may irritate skin.
