This scabiosa is an excellent bright red flowering plant that is great for cutting and performs well in the garden. Use it in groups to add a splash of color to your border and a sense of depth to the garden. It blooms its heart out over the early summer months and if you trim it back lightly after flowering it will reward you with another flush of flowers in the late summer.
