Details

Growing up to 8 feet high, the purple flowers of New York Ironweed provide nectar to foraging bees and butterflies in late summer and early fall. The dramatic blooming plant is excellent for borders, rain gardens, and meadows. The tall dead stalks remain standing well throughout the winter months, giving migrant bird species a place to perch in early spring. Deer-resistant foliage.
