Details

This plant produces clusters of showy violet blue, bell-shaped flowers in early summer that attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. They are perfect for edging the front of the flower border or in a large rock garden. They also work well in tubs and mixed containers. Clustered Bellflowers are the county flower of Rutland, England. This easy to grow and reliable plant performs well in full sun or partial shade in many soil conditions. It will spread to make a solid mat of foliage, and will often bloom again in late summer if dead-headed promptly. They make interesting cut flowers as well!
