Details
Green Striped Cushaw is a Native American pumpkin/winter squash that was introduced before 1850. The fruits are large and bulb-shaped with curved necks. They can weigh up to 40 lbs., with the average weight being around 10-15 pounds, and can grow to around 18" long, and 10" wide at the bowl. The skin is creamy-white and is mottled with green stripes. The light yellow flesh is slightly sweet, thick, fibrous, and is fine for pies and baking. Also perfect for decorative autumn displays.
