SMR-58 was developed by the University of Wisconsin, and has been the standard home garden pickle for many years. The high-yielding plants produce lots of crisp fruit that are blocky and slightly tapered with black spines. This variety is perfect for those with a short season or in northern climates, and is resistant to Cucumber Mosaic Virus and Scab.
