Crenshaw melons were introduced to American gardeners in 1929. They are a fine gourmet type with sweet, thick, mouthwatering flesh! Melons reach 5 to 8 lbs., have salmon-colored flesh, and turn yellow-green when ripe. This is a heat-loving oval-shaped melon that has wonderful vigorous vines.
