Details

Champion is a Vates type selected for its longer standing ability. The plants are short stemmed with thick leaves, and they tend to be more vigorous with a higher yield potential. Dark green and large, the cabbage-like leaves retain their eating quality up to 2 weeks longer than other Vates types. Try Champion braised with a touch of olive oil and garlic. They are especially good with ham or pork chops and have good winter hardiness.
