Details
Also known as Aji Limon and Kellu Uchu in Peru. This seasoning pepper that originated in Peru from pre-Columbian times ripens to a clear lemon yellow, sometimes with a dark purple blush. It has significant heat without being overbearing, making this pepper, with its lemony tang, a chili that’s perfect for spicier salsas, delicious pepper powder or flakes, and citrus-based homemade hot sauces. This pepper also works well with chicken, fish and seafood meals.
