Softneck. Artichoke type. Oregon Blue has a mild garlic flavor: great to eat raw in salsas and pesto. Original source unknown, yet this variety has been floating around the Northwest for generations. A vigorous plant with deep green leaves. Bulb wrappers usually show a light blue/purple tint. 10-12 cloves per bulb. Good storage.
