Hardneck. Rocambole type. OLD HEIRLOOM arrived in early 1800's. Treasured for its exceptionally rich smooth flavor. It is moderately spicy when first harvested and mellows with time. It has a rich flavor that we find particularly good for roasting or baking. Originally from Germany via Canada. 6-12 cloves per bulb. Stores for 4-6 months.
