Details

A highly popular acorn variety that bears 1.5 - 3 lb. fruits. This variety was introduced commercially in 1913, but was cultivated previously by the Arikara Indian tribe in the early 1800s. Features sweet golden yellow flesh that turns more orange in storage, with ribbed, dark green skin. A very prolific vining type that will keep your root cellar full. A fantastic keeper and an excellent baking squash!
