Lacy leaves with clusters of small daisy-like flowers have a strong camphor smell and have been used historically to treat migraines, fevers, menstrual cramps, tension, lower blood pressure and aid digestion. There is some scientific evidence that drinking feverfew tea, or adding a few fresh leaves leaves to a sandwich everyday can for some people reduce the frequency and severity of migraine headaches. When crushed, the leaves release a strong citrus scent. Heavenly!

This herb can be used fresh or dried. It can be brewed as a tea, taken as a tincture, made into capsules, or used to make homemade insect repellent. To air dry, tie several cut stalks into bundles and hang upside down in a dry, dark place for up to a week.
