Cucumber 'National Pickling' Plants (6 Pack)

Originally developed for the National Pickling Association in 1924, this pickling cucumber is what the growers asked for. These 6" long cucumbers are bred with a slight taper to fit more readily into a jar! National Pickling provides dependable yields over a long season and is tailored for Northern growers. They are ideal for making dill pickles and are also excellent in salads. If you want great pickles, this is the cucumber to grow! A perfect variety for the home garden.

Welcome to our 2023 Plant Start Sale! Along with our large collection of seeds offered at www.GardenHoard.com, we are selling our plant starts online as well!
 

We have developed a contactless pickup system for these plant starts. Mid-May through June we will be offering pickup at our farm in Howell, MI. The system will involve you receiving a pickup email to schedule a date and time, and your order being available for safe, secure, contactless pickup.
 

We will be including extremely helpful instructions along with detailed information about the plants you chose with your order! 
 

Simply make your plant selection by adding each plant you want to your shopping cart. When you check out, select "On-Farm Pickup". When the plants are available (beginning Mid-May), you will receive a pickup email with details on where to find your order! If you require a special delivery because of health concerns, or need to change your pickup date/time, please respond to your pickup email and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Plants are $4/each or 6 for $20. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout if ordering 6 or more plants. Thank you! 

If you order seeds with your plants, we will send those to you in the mail, prior to plant pickup day!
