This Russian heirloom produces a long and steady crop of 2” elongated plum-shaped fruits that are a beautiful deep-mahogany with dusty green shoulders. It resembles a small paste tomato but with thinner walls. Preferred by some for a richly colored salsa or spaghetti sauce, yet sweet and juicy enough for salads and snacking on.
