Details

Also known as Zolotoy Borago in Russia. A very productive Russian heirloom found at the Bird Market in Moscow. This gorgeous 6-12 oz., round, oblate, yellow beefsteak produces early for such a large tomato. Its impressive flavor is much more delicious than other yellow tomatoes, being acidic with a hint of citrus. A great variety suited to coastal and both warm to cooler growing regions. Great for eating in salads, sliced into a sandwich, cooking in sauces or canning.
