Details

This dark purple Italian Large Leaf basil has a stronger flavor than sweet basil and was an All-America Selections winner in 1992. Red Rubin adds color to Caprese salads, dressings, pasta dishes, marinara sauces, herbed vinegar, and more. The slightly puckered, 3” leaves grow prolifically, and the plants can also be grown in containers. The beautiful lavender-pink flowers make this basil an outstanding culinary and ornamental variety.
